So I hope you all are having a great Valentine’s day!
This year, both my kids are older and there were no organized exchanging of those cute little valentines.  However, my daughter and I made some for her to pass around to her friends.  They were a big hit at school.  We had only made 30 of them and when she got home she said “Mom, we totally should have made like 50!”   I’m so glad they were a hit.

Have you ever had these awesome projects in your head that you just KNEW were going to come out awesome… and then.. well they took a wrong turn somewhere? That’s been my experience this week.

Moral of the story… So - no matter how busy you are, remember to decompress by going on a nature walk, reading a book, skipping stones on a pond, or doing your favorite craft. I’ve found that if I make time for these little things, my life is a much happier existence.

 
So I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted - been MIA.  I have been crafting when I can and will post some pics soon.  We were caught in the ice storm 2 weeks ago and were without power for 8 days… yes… EIGHT days.  The first night or so was an adventure… that slowly led to insanity! 
The insurance adjuster is recommending we get a new roof, and our trampoline died.  We shall have services at a later date to memoralize this childhood object of affection.
