About Us

Sibling Craftery has been created by two sisters whom both have a deep, hard-to-explain love for all things crafty. We both feel blessed with a natural talent of arts and are able to bounce good ideas off of one another, usually creating even better ideas. Our original intention with this website was to show off our current projects and original creations with friends and family. We both look for unique ideas to the crafts that we enjoy and never can seem to find exactly what we are looking for so we end up creating originals based off of these ideas. We realized there was a whole world of people who would be able to appreciate what we create and decided to make our patterns for embroidery and sewing along with elements for digital scrapbooking available for free downloads. We hope that you enjoy everything that we will be working on!

Sibling Craftery consists of Kandra (32) and Renee (26) who were both born in southeastern Arkansas. Our talent comes from our father who is an amazing artist and shared the love of painting with us, as well as our mother who encouraged us to dip our little hands into everything we could instead of just focusing on one area. We both enjoy similar projects but tend to excel in different areas which allow us to complement each other very well. We each have a strong faith and in turn our lives and families are strongly held together with the love that Christ has given us.

Kandra lives in Northwest Arkansas along with her husband of 14 years, Michael, and their two amazing children Shawn and Kacie. She enjoys embroidery, sketching, painting, digital scrapbooking and playing the piano. Kandra currently works full time at a corporation as an IT Business Specialist and is working towards a bachelor’s degree at John Brown University majoring in Business Information Systems. Kandra and her family attend Fellowship Bible Church in Lowell, AR (www.fellowshipnwa.org).

Renee lives in Central Arkansas along with her husband, Justin, and their wonderful daughter Katie. She enjoys sewing, sculpting, painting, digital scrapbooking and hopes to take up embroidery at the beginning of the year. Renee currently works full time as an office manager in a small business which allows her the flexibility to volunteer at her daughter’s school often. Renee and her family attend Revolution Church in Benton, AR (www.revolutionbenton.com).

I read your article regarding making fabric organizers out of cardboard. I have seen beautiful fabric ruined by the acid in cardboard. Please do your readers a favor and discourage the use of cardboard. My product is Fabric Storage Sheets. They are reusable, solid plastic and acid free. I don’t sell in stores in order to keep the price down. My customers (usually fabricaholics) order in quantities of 4 or more boxes of 50, bringing the price down to $1.08/ea. The work is done and they are ready to use.
    Thank you,
    Elaine

so I don’t know if this counts towards the contest: but, since I am here I will share….has anyone started making PURSE ORGANIZERS? What are they, well - as very large purses, handbags, hobos etc. are all the rage …and ladies like to change purses frequently - what do you do with all your purse articles? if they are always in the same ‘purse organizer’ you just lift that little doohickie out of one bag and put in another. Does this make sense? I think it is a good idea, just haven’t done it myself…need a template for it I guess.
