My son and I were watching Futurama not too long ago and we saw Blinky ( the three eyed fish from Simpson’s) going through one of the tunnels.That was it!  I had to stitch that fabulous three eyed nuclear wasted inhabiting fish!

I stitched him on some yellow bubbly material - I thought it fit him well.

Then I had to do something with him.

He can’t just sit on my wall - he had to be seen!

So I made a tote bag to use at stores and such.  I thought it was genius!

Sew something that would reduce waste with something (ok fictional, but all the same) that was affected by waste!

I had asked Kacie to model the bag for me.

Before I knew it the whole family was showing off the Black Blinky Bag.

Family…. Gotta love ‘em!
