Meet my little friend…

14 November 2009 One Comment

Last weekend was awesome.  I actually had almost a whole day to just play and craft.  Those days are few and I enjoyed every minute of it.

I started by making a Christmas present for my niece Leah.  This Christmas we are trying to make almost all the presents we give.  Leah’s little, so I can actually post what she’s getting…

Nope it’s not just a drawstring bag…

Come on out…

Aww…. don’t be shy!  They are friendly here.

You are so cute!

Big Hug!

I just love his long ears and his cute little bunny tail.  It took me a long time to just decide on what pattern to use.  Mike and the kids helped me and we finally decided on a bunny. We also decided to make a little bag so Leah could easily carry him (or her I guess) around.  I made him using this pattern.  I didn’t realize how long stuffies take to make!  But he is adorable and totally worth it to see a smile on Leah’s face!

So what’s black, white and red all over?

Yup! My camera strap!  I love black, white and red - my favorite color combo!  I’ve had this material for a while and didn’t know what to make with it.  Perfect for me and my camera!  I used the tutorial at Cluck, Cluck Sew. My cousin had requested that I make her and a friend a camera strap.  Well,  I made mine first.  You know.. for… ummm… test reasons.  Yeah… it couldn’t have been because I’ve wanted to make one for since August!… yeah.. test reasons…

The other two are wider than mine to fit their Nikon camera strap.  I think they turned out well!  Jessica likes polka dots and pinks.

And she requested cute blue or green fabric for her friend.

All in all a great day for crafting!

Keep Kraftin’,
