Changing Plans

21 July 2009 One Comment

I’m changing some of my summer goals.. Why you might ask?  Well there are new things I want to do - especially since I know I’m getting a new neice soon!  Gotta switch gears to more girly baby stuff! :)  So here’s the original list:

Kandra’s Summer Crafting Goals

And here’s the new list: (New items in BOLD)

Kandra’s NEW AND IMPROVED Summer Crafting Goals

And there we have it - new goals.  Don’t worry, I’ll complete the other ones too, just not in the near future.

Now on to a picture of Kacie’s quilt I have in progress…

100_2625This Old Red Barn Co. Quilt is very easy to do so far.  Talk to me later after I machine quilt for the first time and see if I feel the same way.  I blame my last semester at college for the slow progress.  But as you can see here I have the strips sewn together and blocks cut!

We even laid them all out and got a great little design planned for the quilt top!

I’ve also have me as a work in progress.  Yup… I’m a work in progress now.  I set up a “get healthy” blog.  Come visit if you get a chance.

OH! And did I tell you about all the wonderful fabrics I picked up this past weekend!  WOOHOOO!  Yup, my stash is quite content and happy (for now  LOL)  If you click the picture of my fabric stash addictions, I mean additions, it’ll take you to my flickr account which has notes about all the fabric (and you can see it up close and personal!)

I’ll post more updates later!

Keep Kraftin’

I am with you on the quilt a long quilt. I just got my strips all sewn together. My 17 month old hampers a lot of my sewing time… :) Yours is looking great!
