WIPs and UFOs

24 April 2009 6 Comments

Do you ever over do it?  Have so many different ideas that you want to do that you end up with multiple WIPs and UFOs?  For those that are wondering if I’m going to fight some aliens with a bunch of whips - let me explain.  WIPs = Works in progress.  UFOs = Unfinished Objects.  They are breeding in my house - multiplying at an alarming rate.  Not only do I have my online horde of free patterns, tutorials, and coloring pages loitering in my Favorites - my house is being taken over by those WIPs and UFOs! LOL

I finally finished one peice earlier this week (Tuesday?).  This is a piece that is being sent to http://mandmstudio.blogspot.com for the 6 o’clock stitch swap.

I’ve got the other bandanas washed and ready to iron/sew for Leah’s dresses.  These will be made just like the bandana dress I made earlier.  They are simple and way cute.  I know that the pink polka dots are girly and the camo - well - isn’t… but they are perfect for this little girl.

I’ve transferred the pattern for the pillowcase swap I’m doing right now.  I keep changing my mind on this pattern.  My partner wanted birds or the tree of life, or animals - this is what I’ve selected… what do ya’ll think?  Try again or go for it?  I’m just sooooo unsure on this one.

And here’s a ton of ribbon where I’ve started making hairbows.  I’ll get more done and put them together.  I’m thinking about trying to sell them.  Not sure yet.  Kacie sure looks adorable in the orange one I finished! :D

So other than the WIPs and UFOs in my house - of course I’ve got the regular responsibilities of kids, hubby, home, school and work… and side work… LOL  I’ll get it all done one day :D

Keep Kraftin’

I am the Queen of UFOs! I started a regular feature on my blog called “Finished for Friday” to force myself to kill off some of these projects. I invite you to link up any Friday that you have something to show and tell.

    I love that embroidery!
