Inchie Invasion

I’ve finally succumbed to the world of inchies. If you aren’t sure what those are - in a nutshell, they are art on a 1 inch by 1 inch canvas. Google inchies and you’ll find yourself inundated with websites that you MUST checkout.

They are having another inchie swap on Craftster and I decided to join in. Little did I know how addicting these little boogers are! We are supposed to make 49 inchies and send 7 of them to 7 different people. Here are the ones I did.

Black Blinky Bag

My son and I were watching Futurama not too long ago and we saw Blinky ( the three eyed fish from Simpson’s) going through one of the tunnels.That was it! I had to stitch that fabulous three eyed nuclear wasted inhabiting fish!

Homemade Holidays 2009

So here’s a review of most of the handmade gifts I made for family members this past Christmas.

We’ll start off with the nieces - such fun to make gifts for kids.
Katie loves bows and her mom suggested a bow holder. So I made her one, in her fave colors and personalized with her name.

She seemed to love it!

Then there was little River’s present.  I made her two soft blocks, one is filled with plastic bags and the other has stuffing and bells.  She’s too little for them right now, but …

Playing with Watercolors
